A Turtle, Truck, Tattoo, and Twilight

Maybe you're wondering what the theme of this post could possibly be with a title like that! These are the things that made up our weekend...

A Turtle- Owen's first up-close experience with a turtle that my dad spotted while in Chapel Hill and that my mom agreed to hold for the whole 30 minute drive to our house! What a trooper she is!
A Truck- We're hanging the dry wall in our new "Creative Room" on the third floor! This was the only way to get it in, and boy was Owen excited about it! It's every little boy's dream to get to watch a huge lift like that in his very own front yard!
A Tattoo- Our best buddy Daniel got a tattoo this weekend and so the paparazzi showed up to capture the whole experience on film! I'm sure that these tattoo artists are not used to the guy getting the tattoo bringing three friends and a camera, and I don't think they have plans of accommodating crowds like that in the future because they turned down my request to install bleachers! We couldn't miss this though. It was quite the experience!!
Twilight- Yes, I've joined the bandwagon and started reading the Twilight series after a recommendation from my Aunt who has fabulous taste in books. I finished the first one in only three days (quite a feat for a busy mom!) Don't tell anyone I stayed up until 4:15am reading though. It's a beautiful love story, totally fictional and totally innocent. I love it and can't wait to start on the next one!

AHHH can't believe Daniel actually got the tatoo! And yes, Twilight is a crazy addiction. One of my friends just said that she purposefully took day breaks between reading the final book... just to make it last longer since she knew she would be so sad to have it end!
