We had a white Christmas at the lake this year for our early celebration with the Batchelor's!
Outside, the snow may have been different for us, but inside all activities remained the same... we still crammed as many people as possible into the kitchen when the appetizers were served!

We laughed at old stories. This year Mama Lew pulled out all of the old ornaments that hung on her tree and allowed us to pick out the ones we would like for our trees.

Kyle got a real nice mushroom that he chose to wear as a zipper pull! Fancy, Ky!

Raleigh collected all of the bows so we could reuse them again next year.

Owen shook hands with Santa. This Santa has been with us for many, many years. Mama Lew made him and some of my earliest Christmas memories include him. I'm still not sure how he has kept such a slim waste line with the way we Batchelor's put away the food!

Every year we all get together for the week at the beach and Christmas. During our week at the beach we take gobs of pictures and one person compiles them into a book that we read together at Christmas. Here we are taking turns reading the book aloud together.

Owen, Aunt Beth and Kyle led us in singing Christmas carols!

There is one stocking hung for each of us... I don't know where we are going to squeeze in Daisy's stocking next year (she's due to join the family in 3 weeks)!

Most of the calories we consume by way of pumpkin pie, coconut cake, peanut butter balls, peanut brittle and chocolate pie we laugh off. It's easy to do with a crowd this goofy...
Here we are lobbing snowballs at everyone as they leave.

Can you see Aunt Elizabeth saying "Na Nanny Boo Boo" in this picture? Did I already mention that we are goof balls?

I hope your family has a very Merry Christmas!
