Update from the Hospital

I still have lots of pictures to upload of our forth of July celebrations, but I thought I would first post the latest news. "Baby Secret" (as Owen calls his little brother because we are keeping his name a secret) has decided he wants to make an earlier than expected arrival. I have been at the hospital for one week now and it's looking like we will be here a while longer. If you're interested in reading the whole story, you can visit our CaringBridge site.

Owen's way of coping with all of this has been to be our little practical joker. He has had a blast with the blue surgical gloves, making them into balloons...

And what he calls "special socks!"

My Mom: "Owen, where is Mommy?"

Owen: "Mommy is at the hospital."

My Mom: "What is she doing at the hospital?"

Owen: "Bleeding."
