Last night I met up with a group of my high school friends, their husbands and babies!!! You know you have a special bond when it has been months (and for some, years) since we've seen each other, but it only felt like days. We caught up quickly then laughed for about 3 hours!
The Sanderson girls (left to right): me, Laurie (holding her very new baby Annalise), Annie (the only girl at her engineering firm! Go ahead Annie!), Heather (like her glasses? She can fit you for a pair!), Katiepage (her first and last name are forever joined! She also wins the award for longest trip to come to dinner... she came all the way from Seattle), Colleen (or fondly, "Colon" or "Leeny" was showing us all how to hold Annalise since she's a nurse at Duke!), Sarah (too bad you can't see the new diamond on her left hand that Steve gave her!), and Christy (who has since gone back to "Christian" now that she's a counselor, but was so sweet to answer to Christy all night!)
Annalise is only 3 weeks old and she's already the life of the party!
