Daniel is 30! We surprised him a week early and he didn't have a clue! Liz even flew in from NYC to be there! Here they are posing with Daniel's "Flirty @ 30" mug. We decided a hunter green coffee mug wasn't exactly flirty, oh well!

Why does everyone always take the "blowing out the candles" picture? It's never flattering, but I'm really glad I was ready with my camera this time. Daniel blew out his candles 3 times (and yes, we sang three times too! Ugh!)...1. The normal blowing out the candles pic, except he forgot to make a wish
2. We actually relit the candles and sang again! This time Kyle thought it would be funny to blow out one candle. (Please note Daniel's mom's face in this picture... priceless!)
3. Third time's a charm. I sure hope all that singing was worth it and his birthday wish comes true.
