We've been talking a lot about the birthday party for Jesus that's coming up at the end of this month. I got Owen a nativity set and we walk the 3 wise men up to it from "far far away"... Owen knows Baby Jesus' mommy and daddy's names and he knows that the camel and the sheep and the cow are all excited to see Baby Jesus. We talk about how Jesus has already been born, but we celebrate his birthday on Christmas, just like we celebrated Owen's birthday a few weeks ago. Just when I think he's getting it...

Boys will be boys! I guess we'll finish our discussion about the shepherds after the camel returns from the hospital!
